Ah, moving into a new space. Exciting! But so much work sorting and giving up stuff. Yard sales rarely bring in much money. Charity is always a good idea.

Picking up the pieces. Could you ask the guy that's patching the ceiling to use a drop cloth? Hell, you could probably use an old sheet.
As far as finishing your book... Do you really want to? You do a lot of other reading, so you may want to finish your book but for me? What do I do now?
