Speaking of daring, we all watched in horror has Henri came at us. I thought of you as the storm hit RI. Here in NJ we got more rain in 24 hours than we get all summer!

Wonderful commentary on how family members deal with life:) I enjoy your observational approach with strong introspection. You know yourself and are not striving to be someone else. A good place to be! Interesting about the Vanderbilt family estate—I read a fascinating book about their family last year. Wow, what a history.

Know what, Eva? Bet your daredevil sister cannot write a book. As a kid, I loved the hard rides, but as an older guy, the best or worst daredevil thing I do is forget to bring my cane.
