"Eva’s Byte #429 – The Ripple Effect"

Sometimes... Sometimes, Eva, we might do something without thinking that, sometimes, will brighten another person's day.
I am so lucky to live where I live. If you look under my poetry you will find it in 'Green Velvet'.
I walk my little girl (yorkie-doodle) in mornings when it's a bit cooler, and I have a bit more energy.
Two days ago I was coming up a bit of an up running sidewalk when this woman was starting down.
She had to be, possible into her late seventies or early eighties and for some reason this white-haired woman looked positively beautiful and I couldn't hold back when I said, "You're beautiful!"
This was not said in any way of a pickup line. For some reason this lady, to me, was beautiful.
When I said this, her hand went to her throat, possibly in a way to even of some wrinkles, which, by the way, she did have, but it did not matter.
A look came to her face that told me she hadn't been told she was beautiful for possibly forty years.
Was I flirting, because I have been known to do this, but the meeting was so swift there wasn't time for me to think anything other than "beautiful lady" and the words came out.
I have the feeling, and the hope that this old guy really helped to make the day of a, no matter her age, beautiful lady.
I do get rambling a bit, don't I?
