"Strange Dream/Vision"

Hello John,
I would like to take a stab at dream interpretation here ... Dream #1. It's perfectly obvious to me that you miss your mother and that's why your mind allowed the waiter not to bring the check, so you would have more time to spend with her. It's a dream of wishful thinking. It's interesting that it's a Chinese restaurant, as well. This assures even more time together because you neither speak it nor understand the language.
#2. As to the missing car keys ... think back to the day after the dream. Did you have somewhere to go, or an appointment that you wished you could cancel and not have to go to? That would explain why your mind was hiding the car keys in the dream -- you were wishing you didn't have to leave your house.
Just my take on them, John. Dreams always have a grain of truth to them. The trick is, understanding our true feelings when our mind controls and hides our real thoughts in wakefulness but allows them out through dreaming.
Namaste.

Hello Chessly,
Yes, traumatic in the sense that it was life-changing, not life-threatening. When I was 20, my first husband was combat medic and killed in Vietnam -- it was devastating (traumatic), but I had always had whispers, even when I was a child. The clairvoyance did get much stronger, just before Doug went to Vietnam, though. A few days before he left, I had a vision where I saw a coffin in a church. When I looked inside, there was a man with no face. I naturally assumed it meant my father was in danger and I called my mother the next day and asked her to keep an extra close eye on Dad. It never occurred to me that anything would happen to Doug. He was killed four months later. The vision had been of him in the casket.
As to the birds sitting the chairs, they were human-sized blackbirds with yellow beaks.
Namaste.

I too leave my body and fly to a place high in sky. It happens all the time now and I am very tired when I wake up. I am always scared going up because I look down and have nothing to hold onto. Afraid of heights my whole life. Anyway, I reach the most beautiful place where everyone knows my name...This started happening right after my horrible car accident where I almost died. A male voice told me it wasn't my time that I had to go back. Since the accident I get visions in my head of things that are going to happen in
the future...I could have saved a friend from death if I listened to the sign. Did something traumatic happen to you? I do believe that certain people are blessed with your gift. I would love to talk to you sometime so we could share our experiences. It is a gift that you were blessed with. I have in the past been afraid of what people might say when I share my experiences in the sky...Very interesting vision. I will do some thinking and get back to you. What kind of bird did you see sitting in the chairs? Maybe that has a significance to the vision. Take care, and hope to chat soon! Chessly
I don't know if you will want to hear my comments, but with what Robert shared about humor- delightful humor- I'll at least say something.
I do experience awareness. I do seek to remain open to all the possibilities of spiritual wonders that we may experience. But I find myself often very frustrated, and in some manner it is humor which helps me cope.
I love the idea of dreams and messages. So imagine my frustration that I just don't seem to dream at all. Over the past few months I have tried to induce dreaming by taking lots of vitamins before sleep. That can help- but here are 2 recent dreams:
1. I am with my mother (who passed away in 2002)- in a Chinese restaurant- we have finished our meal- but can't get the waiter to bring the check. We are stuck there...can't get his attention.
I wake up- that is the end of the dream. No resolution- no message I can find- what was that?
2. I am in the house- and can't find my car keys. I always know where I have them, but they are not there. I look all around- can't seem to find them...
I wake up. Dream over.
When I look at these dreams, pondering the meaning of dreams- I do come to a conclusion.
My dreams- for whatever reason- are the deleted scenes which didn't make the director's cut to be included in the movie of my life.
Being writers with such imaginations we can certainly have a field day with any dreams- But I'm sure what we should do is check our feelings- remember the scenes as best we can- not forcing anything- but seeing what we saw- focusing on how we feel in the process- allowing the wandering thoughts to flow, feeling possibilities...until we know things are as they should be.
All my best,
John
