I hear your concern...I thought about the same thing...Oh! my I'm going to be fifty. But Carin in truth my life,career and lover all has come to me at fifty.
So I say my spiritual friend go ahead and be fifty,then strut your stuff and look nifty.

No NO Carin'.... It is wonderful...IFFFFF you decide to make it so! I dreaded 50, cried for a week, then it took me 2 YEARS to acknowledge it...and now I'm in the 60's and hating it...but once I made up my mind to let go and LIVE during the 50's...I know that I was very happy...pretty still...not so wrinkled up and dry...and my figure still wasn't quite so droopy...and my mind was filled with hope and joy and enthusiasm... so don't let 50 be sad or discouraging... YOU ARE a Carin' spirit....so...MARK YOUR SPOT...and hang on for the wonderful ride... then when you finally do reach 60...you'll appreciate so much... :-)) altho... 60 isn't so bad either... that's when you are "considered" old for certain...and can act silly, crazy, dress how you want, and say what you want...and people just smile and say..."she's so eccentric!".... :-)) eNJOY! lindalaw

You go and give it your all. But 50 was downhill all the way for me with more aches and pains, slower walking, and even slower thinking and all. I am now 63, alright with that but hated to really hated to turn 60. Now am waiting to turn 70 to see if I'll really make it to 70. Life does go on and it is what you make of it as the saying goes.
