Sandie....As Kalikiano Kalei said, it's not only Google....It's all of the Internet websites....I turned off my tracking along time ago....Hackers abound everywhere....They will snitch on you when nobody else knows....

It's a fact of internet/smartphone life, these days, but it's not just GOOGLE. ALL internet providers reap your personal data & info (prime offender: FACEBOOK, of course). The only real solution is to ditch the smartphone and use a 'dumbphone'. As a neo proto Luddite, I wish more individuals would ditch their internet accounts & devices, but too many people are hooked on the addictive capabilities that electronic media have. They have us well trained, don't they? Dr. Ted may have been a bit extreme in his own rejection of such things, but his heart was (is) in the right place. He was, by the way, one of my former instructors at UC Berkeley, many years ago!
