Hi Gavin:
I'm suspecting Cheryl knew something was wrong with herself because my daughter has been bawling her eyes out for the past several days. She had a hunch and was protesting. She came up to my lap and meows and purrs at the same time. The little girl was quite emotional too. I don't want to do that to her when she is under that state of mind. She was alert and was happy was the rest of the day.
The vet told us she has cancer and it was time for her to leave while she wasn't feeling miserable for it is just going to get worse. We will leave this 'til the end of this month. Let her be happy for the next week or so. If one we found her feeling miserable we will take her in for the procedure so she won't have to suffer.

I think the kitty is protesting. She may have been fighting to stay alive. It was said that animals have a 6th sense which allows them to foresee their own future.
I don't know if this was proven or not, but some farmers claim they could see tears from cows while they were on their way to be slaughtered, and recently a pig jumped out of a moving truck en routing to the slaughter house. The pig landed on the busy highway to make a great escape, but was soon recaptured. The pig's life was spared on that day and didn't have to go to the slaughter house.
