I think once you have given a gift to someone it belongs to that someone's property to do whatever he/she likes with the gift.

I know it seems distasteful for the reviewer to try to sell a signed copy of your book rather than to keep it. I would be upset too if I were you.

But life goes on anyway; and so does our writing.

It was good of the reviewer to donate the book to her library. That helps to market you and the book But for the library to sell the book - is a new one on me. We need to confront that librarian with an ethics question.

There is always someone dreaming up a new way to muddy our puddle.
