Whenever you speak with passion, you have to expect that there will be dissenters. That is ok. That is one of the wonderful things about America the Christian and the atheist, the Republican and the Democrat, the Poet and the Scholar all have the ability to share their voice.

You cannot let anyone stop you from sharing your thoughts.

From what I have seen in reading your work, there seem to be a lot of people supporting you and the things you write. Focus on that. Let the positive guide you instead of being moved by the negative.

I find value in reading pieces by authors whose views are diametrically opposed to my own. Writing, to me, is about the art - the configuration of the words, the expression of the thought in novel ways - and whatever a person's personal opinions may be, are of little importance.

Keep writing.
Focus on the positive and let the negative be.

Don't leave. You'll just be doing your attackers a favor. I've had my share of this stuff, and some are really toxic and acidic (whew) but it hasn't dried my pen. Keep writing - it is your calling.

I do not even know what your "views" are Michelle; however...like I've said before.. (difficult and hurtful as it may be)......do not give them the Power to determine what you decide is your opinion... Who knows, I may not like your view (if I see it) but I would never want or let anyone tell me to shove it... This is my outlet...and...I live in this free nation...where I can!!! The word "ignore" is so inadequate...it's hard to do that...but...in some ways, it's just best to skip over it...and laugh....

KEEP WRITING and NEVER give up hope!! I would report the person (or persons) who are attacking you to the moderator of Authorsden so they can take immediate action!! We don't need this here!!!! And I am NOT giving up my writing; so don't YOU dare do the same!! I pray this madness ends; it's crazy!!

Ignore and hit that delete button. No one has the right to tell you what you can or can not write. Keep writing, keep deleting. They don't have to read it if it offends them, get along leaving a nasty review. DELETE! LOVE AND HUGS, BONNIE
