This is a difficult question to answer, Michelle. Personally, I think children are medicated for the convenience of the parent or teacher, not because the child is in need of it. That's my opinion. That child who seems over-medicated needs to be re-evaluated. Excellent blog, Michelle.
I sometimes wonder that myself. I personally think a lot of it has to do with bad parenting, or that parents are overreacting. Sad! |
