Right-wing Radicals just want to be, well you know ... right. They don't care about what's good for the country or its citizens. When presented with facts, they feel threatened. I watched the speech and it was very positive and inspirational. Parents who were scared because they believed the lies and kept their children out of school did them a disservice.

Maybe some ppl don't want their children indoctrinated and have them end up like the Hitler Youth. Nazism never died...it just took on a new face!
I'd recommend watching Roman Polanski's "The Pianist" see if any thing twigs..
Poor Poor Obama..yes he is sorely misrepresented....He is after all just a Puppet!!
People need to look beyond the Puppeteering, and dig a little deeper, see whose pulling the strings, World Wide!!

I could tell you about the far right, they just had a different name, and there too as you said, lies, lies, lies,
and the Big Shot on top you know his name, said, the bigger the lie....... well you know the rest, and as Ed said a christian nation, should never be that far apart, and yes I also agree with Mr. Arrington, he, said it with some gentility, better than I would have. Hugs! Jasmin Horst

My beef is with the WAR. That's it. But sometimes I feel poor President! As I said before & at election time, he's brave, and I certainly admire that to no end. :)

I agree that Fear-Mongering, and Hate-Mongering seem to be taking over our country but I think this is more simple then that. I think this issue goes back 200 years. I think this issue has nothing to do with politics. I think this issue wears a mask, NO! a hood- I think this is just old fashion RACISM and is being covered by every lam ans stupid excuse that can be thought up. I think some parents simply don't want their children to see a BLACK President. I don't agree with him on every issue but I VOTED FOR HIM and I WILL VOTE FOR HIM AGAIN!

I, myself, find it horrendous.

Fear-Mongering, and Hate-Mongering seem to be taking over our country, very rapidly these days. It was bad enough when they were targeting Senior Citizens; now, they target young children.

I just watched Obama's speech to America's schoolchildren, as I did the speeches of both Reagan and Bush Senior, to America's schoolchildren when they were in office.

And I found nothing offensive, in any of the three speeches.

And thankfully, the schoolchildren at my wife's school were allowed to watch it, as well.

And we are supposedly a 'Christian nation.' I now doubt that more and more, each and every day.
