loved this blog my friend, as I related very well! My mom owned a fabric shop when I was growing up, and my brother, sister and myself all had our share of homemade clothes. Yeap, even my brother had the western style shirts with the yolk collars, snaps up the front, my sister and I shared many homemade pant suits, shirts, dresses and even purses! She had the shop until after I got married, I spent many days in the shop with my mother hemming, sewing, and putting away patterns for her! I loved it, and I still have a passion for sewing. I sewed my daughter's dresses until she was about six or seven! I finally got away from clothing and began quilting more! The fabric store...hmmm, I might take a trip this week to the fabric store! Enjoyed this my friend, a wonderful trip down memory lane for me!
