It certainly sounds like the Ozarks is a peaceful place to be. Some people are just so darn busy they miss everything going on around them. Why be so busy? What's the rush? That is something I never understood. Hmmm......I suppose the easy going community I live in has allowed me to enjoy such a relaxed lifestyle. Hope you can convince Dad to go along. He'll be hooked for sure!

One of the reasons I miss Missouri (my home State) is the seasonal changes...even loved the cold (I was young then :o).
