You sound a lot like me. But I am not in the Ozarks. Must be nice to relax by the lake, see the sights. I am very patient and can wait for someone for hours. Never get tired of people watching while waiting. Have already waited 2 hours in Grocers for my daughter to do her shopping. Yes, it has always taken her 2 hours and her children remind her of how she used to drag them along and it was so long for them. Don't know why but she surely takes her time. Is laidback too like me and you.
