Our prayers and hearts go out to everyone who had losses. It really is a tricky proposition balancing the need to live in nature with the reality of fire and other calamities.

I used to live in southern California and those fires were a yearly hazard for everybody. Five miles is way too close, Eileen. I hope all will be okay with your place. My heart goes out to all the fire-fighters who are risking their lives in that inferno. |
