Hi Dan.

Oh, I have learned to do so very much around the house since marrying Chet. I "had" to learn, for had I not, nothing would get done. Then again, I love my hubby. After all, he has his good qualities, even if he isn't Mr. Fix It. :-)

I was very open and honest with my now, ex-wife, before we married, about my lack of talent with tools and knowing what to do with them. This did not deter her one bit when things around the house deteriated. When I failed to stop in my tracks to fix whatever went wrong, she would begin by saying "my dad" this and "my dad" that until one day I stopped her in her tracks and told her to call her dad, if she was not happy with my response time, and if that did not work to her satisfaction, she could fix it herself. From that point on she became Ms. Fix-it...and the world lived happily ever after...until the next time.
