Good post David, however, I would refrain from voting a straight democratic ticket. There are "good guys" and "bad guys" in both of the major parties.
That being said, I do feel that the Dems have been doing a lot of good work for America while the Repubs vote against everything on the basis of pure political posturing.
I truly hope that educated people show up at the polls this November.
