Bonnie, this began with an illegal immigrant who was picked up countless times before this day, who creamed into another car with two women. They in turn, from the force of the impact by this man who had no business being in our country in the first place, sailed into the ice cream store killing that precious little boy. So what is the quota before our government puts a stop to ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION? Please do not tell me how THEY are hard workers, because so are we, just not for $3.50 an hour tax free....

This puts me on my soap-box, Bonnie! I think the U.S. should be taxing alcohol far more than they do. Cigarette taxes continue to go up and up, but not the alcohol. If the higher taxes increased the cost of alcohol, so be it. Alcohol causes more unnecessary deaths and near deaths than we can imagine, not to speak of how abuse of alcohol causes devistation to so many families, spouses, children, and by drunk rapists! We've had many deaths of teens in our area due to alcohol. And, yes, I've written to Congress about this many times...

Oh this has hit me hard to Bonnie. It is a terrible way to go and he was enjoying life so much. I hope that drunken driver repents and goes on to a better living. He needs to. The reason for this death we do not know but we have to accept it as meant to be. So many young ones getting killed in auto accidents and all.

OMG, don't get me started! I think the penalties for this madness aren't severe enough. There seems to be no fear of the law. What a sad happening.
