You have a talent it is a wondeful blessing that you have. You share with us to teach us and you keep yourself open so God can work through you. Karen I believe our callings in the area of writing our similiar, when I was in Highschool and saw how few books, they had focussing on disabilities, I decided that I was going to write about people overcoming disabilities, I believe it was books like the Lion Hearted, and Run Dont Walk, by Harriet May Savitts and Lurlene Mcdaniels book that opened that door up to me and of course Helen Keller

Ignorance, keeping people from knowing the truth is the most cruel way to silence the information.
Many parents don't know that communicating with each other (because nobody told them about others with the same predicament) will alleviate their burden as they share.
What you are doing is creating a bridge for those that think and believe to be alone.

Karen, I have to admit that I was very confused, so I value this explanation of your writings. For the longest, I thought your stories were written by different people who just happened to write in occasionally...so I would read some, not always review, altho sometimes I liked some better than others...depending on the topic. It wasn't until almost today that I realize that you are writing these stories as different people would write them...is that correct? If so...my goodness...you are not just a teacher, an educator of themes many of us are not familiar with; but you are a very skilled writer as well. Wow!! Now, that also goes to say....you have to be a good writer or one (me) would not have been so certain that these stories are true and were written by them...not you... That is how real they are! You are truly blessed with the gift of writing about different people. I've followed your blogs and stories over the last year and wondered why you wrote as different people.

Now, I understand.

Thank you for taking the lead in writing compositions that inspire the reader so we know about disabilities that are uncommon. I admire your writing.

Karen, not many people can take the time and effort that you so devotely strive to bring forward. Your work is truly amazing and gives us the reader only a glimpse of reality, and yet you express more than just stories. You instill emotion and character within your work, expressing the very depth of those unfortunate disabilities and disease that cripples society. It is work like yours that many of us are exposed to these troubling families and individuals. I can only say that without you, who else would take up this cause, you are blessed and gifted from the One who truly see's your heart and soul....
