Every time I sit in front of my PC I review everybody but...
Always I get all the reviews off and done by reading and getting the words of each author (and those between the lines) to write a comment with the best of my ability.
The short stories I do last, when nothing is waiting to distract me. I read your stories and sometimes I forget who wrote them and react solely to the person talking to me in them and I comment like I would had done to a flesh and bones one in front of me.
I don't know if I am a poet, but a story teller I am not and you certainly are.
As I named before, better a few heartily reviews than a bunch of cursory ones.
You rock girl! and don't get the blues because you get quality instead of quantity.

Keren. I am so incredibly honored that you would mention me here in your message about poets. I love to write, a given, and now that you have drawn it to my attention re. your stories, I will read them as I love a good story and I love it when the the world is turned upside down and the read heroes are lauded for once. Keep on writing...when I post more than one poem a day the one gets short changed...poor little guy...just write Karen, you release your words from your heart and then who knows who they touch...love and hugs,Bonnie

I must go along with Fee on the multiple story posting per day, but for a different reason. Many readers select what they read from what is featured on the AD Home page. I think (correct me if I'm wrong) that you can only have one title on that featured list at any one time. So, if you already have a title on the featured story list (only 10 are showing), posting a second story title will blow the first title off the featured list. That will kill the review-potential for the first title. Usually, it seems to take several hours for a story title to drop off of this Home listing. At least, that is what I have noticed.

Of course, prose stuff gets less reads/comments (usually) than poems. But the readership can be increased by deliberately giving it a highly dramatic title. Something called "I think I Saw a Large Hairy Thing in the Woods Last Night" will get some reads, probably. But re-title it "OMG Bigfoot!!!" and watch what happens :-) Especially with prose, title is EVERYTHING. Try this and watch your results. It works.

I love your stories, no matter if it is a light-hearted fun piece, or if it is a great story about a disabled person enabling themselves to be a hero. You are so gifted as a writer/reporter :-)

I think you do wonderful work and have taught us so much about the different illnesses and dissabilities out there. That being said I will now also be honest with you...if you are seeking more readers and reviewers and numbers are important to you then you should consider reducing the number of stories you post a day. As we both know people do shy away from stories because they do take more time and often if like you and I we track a lot of writers it is often necessary to chose only one write a day from each one. I hope you don't take this personally and as a rule I observe this myself and usually only post one poem or story per day. Just a suggestion though Karen.

We all need to stand on our soapbox sometimes dont we? You are a talented storyteller, but you sell yourself short in the poetry area as well, because I believe you are multitalented!
