The pastor was right. Not everyone can afford to give, but you give what you can. It isn't the value of your gift that counts, it's the thoughts and the action that counts.

This is a good message, and you say it very well! The point is that we give what we can, but we do it mostly as a gift for God's good...and it should ALWAYS be from our heart...never BECAUSE we have to...or because we are told to...we do it with love...and you are love!! thanks for the message.. hugs, lindalaw

I know how uplifting it is....where I go to church they start out with a mini concert...fabulous and talanted...in fact I went Friday night as the different groups performed and recorded a live CD :)

Karen, At my church today they did the same song. I felt such a love and gratitude to God. Your faith is so wonderful and deep.I think it is so cool that you were thinking of the blessings you have.That is a good reminder for me. Thank you.

Karen I am glad you got to go to church, I did too, and was able to talk to Mrs. Sheryl, Pastor Craig our head Pastor told me to talk to her, and then she will talk to the head of the Childres Dept in my behalf and set up the Lifescan and officially I will be working for the Church, not just as a volunatry roll, not that that matters, but I figured I may as well put my foot in the door! Today our sermon for the Children was about Temptation and Obedience, and Mrs Sheryl did a wonderful job with her illustrated sermon, the adults studied emotions, so Mystery gave me her notes, so I can study it on my own time. This is an awesome blog, isnt it awesome when we can give with a loving heart, even when we have little!
