The world does seem to neglect some and sadly I fall into the same line up...Government has also screwed me royally after thirty years of service...my reward...I will lose my house.Still I am alive, I have people who love me and who I love and there are flowers and sun outside.

Karen, I know its frustrating. There are so many people who have applied for food stamps since they raised the limits on income that there is a backlog. Call your caseworker and tell them you need food NOW. That may help to expedite things. Don't know how it works in Texas. Is there a food bank there? That will get you enough food for a few days. As for disability--they gave my sister less than 6 months to live and she still had problems getting help. Do you have a lawyer? There are those who work non-gratis for this purpose. They(SSA)stand at attention when they know you have a lawyer. You're in my prayers. This is a damn SHAME America!

Karen I believe the Lord will provide, I had to fight this fight too, and so did Mimmi, they said she wasnt disabled enough, come on, I understand your frustration, believing the Lord will provide for you!

Karen, that must be so frustrating for you. I hope your money comes soon. Do they have food lockers there?Sometimes you can get basics there. I am so sorry you are going through this. You deserve MUCH better!
