As always, good article. Love Jean Shepard, the best story teller of the 20th and 21st century. I saw him on tv once, sitting alone in a bleacher seat in an empty Riggly Field. For a half hour, I was there with him and his father, as his dad egged on Lou Gherig which resulted in Lou hitting a game winning homer that crushed The White Sox's chance of having their first winning season in years.
