Hi Micki:
What a close-knit well-written blog. I could feel your fears and excitement right along; but I'm so happy for you that you were brave enough to do the TV interview. I believe stepping into the camera lights and everything just makes you more nervous, because it is not the same as just sitting on a chair talking to your audience.
When I first did my ice breaker speech in the Toastmaster club, I, too, was shaking like a leave. I looked at the audience and one girl was watching me so intently that when I watched her watching me I had forgotten where I was in my speech. It took me a while to go to the next sentence. Heeheee!!!
When it was over, they all thought I did good, and that they didn't even know I was shaking like a leave inside me!!!
Sometimes, we, ourselves, can be our own worst critics; but I'm just so happy for you that you have done your first interview, and I'm sure it isn't going to be your last.
Way to go you talented lady you!!!

Thanks Linda,
"From your lips to God's ears".Isure hope you're right. My pacemaker can only take so much stress! I really do hate these things. I have cfs/fibro which makes me particularly sensitive to lights, loud noises, crowds and excitement and I am an empath so I pick up other's emotions and pain as well--nice gift that!!
Smiles"
