Thank you so much for reminding us of the truth of the religious cult of pilgrims who arrived at Plymouth without a clue how to live, starving and full of disease. I don't know why so many Americans don't want to know the truth of the matter. Perhaps they are ashamed and don't want to admit it.
I understand that the harvest celebration was not in November like we celebrated Thanksgiving. And one account that I read said the one tribe brought seven deer to the celebration that lasted several days. The smoked and dried meat probably lasted through part of the winter.
