There is truth in your words... although sometimes truth is difficult to take. :~) As my husband and I discussed earlier today...I prefer honesty and directness to flattery any day.

Wisdom is not something all have or have learned. Humility in acceptance is also a hard thing to swallow. Those who can will and those who cannot will continue to bellyache. Love ya!

You have really said the words!
I so appreciate the reviews..and I love the den. It allows me the chance to read freely what I choose. To travel into the worlds of people I will never meet..except in their writings! I do read some things I do not really care for. That is when I just do not leave a review..rather than write hurtful words. We each have our likes in writings and It is kinder to not write any hurtful words. You have written something many think...and I applaud you for the honesty. Love to you and Bridget, CarolHawks

Hi Rockie: My heart broke for you and your wife. I couldn't help notice and wondering how you have the time to write so much. Thanks for taking the time to come visit me and my writing. It is still true, I myself don't get very many comments but all I get are like gold. They keep me writing. Sorry, I don't have much time or energy to read and comment much myself. I'm working with my own woes and pain.
