I know Men like to keep their memories with them, especially hats. Do not throw away, it will certainly make him mad and hurt him besides. I beared with Tom and his trains, now I can do what I wish with his collection, he is here not more. At least your hubby is with you and you can abide a little mess. Think of it as treasure to be kept and remembered and one day he might find a use for one of his hats again. Anything that makes them happy, do, life is too short for the petty things, that upset a marriage. I found out that too. Hope I have been some use to you, but know you can bear with him on his likes. Ask him what he wants to leave behind and if he wants to take them let them. You will find a place for them. You are able to please him I know.

There are pluses and minuses to most things but selling a house has one plus that I love, having done it umpteen times. You do have to get rid of a lot of stuff -- stuff you thought you needed but really don't. Hang in there,girl. |
