I should have added to my blog that by the time we walked back to the car, there were so many people we knew we would lose our "spot", so we just left and went to a quiet little restaurant in German Village. We still laugh about that night----it didn't matter that we had to leave the festival, we were still together---

What a remembrance for a favorite date. I cannot think of a favorite of Tom and I, only that we ordered pizza brought in almost everynight. WE were at State Hospital together and did not like cafeteria foods there. So we always ordered pizza at night. We had so many pizza date, but both of us loved pizza. I did like going to his Mother's in NJ for 14 day honeymoon though since with 1st husband did not even have a honeymoon. That was nice and I cooked dinner every night for his Mother. She loved it, especially the strawberry shortcakes I made mostly each night. Glad you had a good time and ate ribs and heard the jazz. Sounds like a lovely relaxing weekend. Mine was relaxing on computer, reading lots, and just being myself here with Seashore the cat. |
