What a wonderful experience. I hope you realize how blessed you are to have the family you had. To be able to slip back in time is beautiful. I had a similar experience several years ago when my cousin in England took us to the church where my great-great-grandfather worshiped. His gravestone was there and I felt as if I had at last had a small taste of what my family long ago was like. We even saw the street where he lived in St. Ives. It was all the more special because I never new any of my grandparents. Savor this memory. Bless you.
