It was wonderful finding my great-great grandfather. He was born on the ship coming from Germany. He donated the land that our old little one room Church was built on and my great grandfather helped build it. So it was a great day for my Dad and me too. I'm so blessed to still have him. We also visited my Mother's grave today.

I would of loved the cemetary trip too. Love to read old stones. Know pretty much my ancestors that are closer to me their dates and all. But I love to even see the different stones and styles of writing. My Aunt took me and my cousin from little on up to cemetary each Sunday for a nice walk and to that I owe my fondness for cemeteries I guess. |
