Glad you and your husband went to your home churech. I used to play thge songs for our sunday school class too.
your grandma is missed but the songs are stil here. I cannot walk as far either, in fact no very far at all now. I cannot stand long either. Am getting older and don't like it at all but must bear with it. Glad you and hubby had a nice and safe trip. Good write too.

Each phase in our lives is important, different and recorded by us. Although a certain phase may have had many positives, it doesn't mean it is ideal to return or even to try to return to that phase. It just was. It was a stepping stone, perhaps. I enjoyed my years living in Atlanta very much. It was a phase in my life. But I don't want to go back to Atlanta. I never expect or hope to live there again. But fond memories exist. We laughed, learned and cried. Cheers

Loved your poignant piece today. Someone did say you can't go home again and I guess that's so unless you caution yourself not to expect what was there. Sometimes I think it's better to cherish the memories. They are so precious. Today was just another precious memory you will remember 10 years from now.
