I'm still laughing.... and... I cannot imagine 3 outfits for $13.... I was excited when Joe gave me $13 the other day to buy one little sweater that I asked for... and believe me...I was shocked when I saw the tag said $13.... but I'm really trying hard to be more frugal... just can't call myself cheap YET...but Joe is CHEAP...and everytime I dress (not for anything special...just dress period)...he says... "Did I buy you that nice outfit?"...and I always respond..."Of course honey...who else would have purchased it?" He's never bought me an outfit...this sweater last week was a miracle... but he has brought me many little bouquets of roses over our time together... just that this past year they have been missing entirely... however... I don't feel sad... I know he's struggling to stretch money too... and he's paid for alot of planefares for me...so... I sure can't fuss!! I think it's so cute that your hubby cares how you look and that your hair is flat and not spikey... I bet you are just cute as you can be...and... how wonderful that he likes to shop for you...and...wow... now his sis and him will be shopping together... Can't wait for you to write and tell us about those gifts!!!! :-)) loved this cute story... true and all... lindalaw

Again your comments hit home with me, only I don't have a hubby to shop for me for something snazzy for Xmas. Enjoy yours while you got him. Life is so short after all. He sounds if if he really cares what you look like and how you dress. Mine always complimented me on whatever I wore. Those days are passed on now. So sad for me still. |
