I agree wholeheartedly! The setting (just reading it in a blurb) can draw me in.

I've written a book on the coast of Maine in the middle of a nor'easter and I've written a book on the tepid shores of Oahu.

I think my writing might be seasonal. :) If it's hot out, I'll write about a cold environment. If it's code out...give me that South Pacific beach!
