Oh, yes, I can remember when I first had my work critiques wondering why the other didn't know exactly what I meant, because, of course, *I* knew exactly what I meant! The readers, naturally, see only what's written, not what's in the author's mind. :D

in one of the writing groups that i meet with, we critique each others work. at first it was difficult for me, but now i can't wait. as you say, they see from the readers view and not the writers; sometimes not the same, but ...indeed they must meet, eh? |
