I hear you loud and clear, Bill.
For quite some time I've been observing the same issue. To prevent boredom and disapointment I read mostly unknown authors. Sure, some first time self-published authors need to polish their gems, but mostly, I have been pleasantly surprised by the literary inventions some writers plotted their stories.
