I have never suffered this but my worry each time I visit with my Cousin Fee is just that as he lives on the 14th. floor. Sorry to hear you had to deal with this but you did well Thank the Good Lord above.

Thanks for your comments Karla. So sorry for your harrowing experience! It must have been terrifying! Maybe if I get enough elevator trapped stories, we could put them all together in a book....giggle....

I got stuck in a glass elevator, 45 floors up, for two hours. (This was back in '77 or '78, in Columbus, Ohio.) Didn't bother me too much, could see out, until the friend I was with told me the movie "Towering Inferno" was on TV that night. Immediately, the scene where Jennifer Jones falls out of the glass elevator came to mind ... THEN I wanted out. LOL

I am severely claustrophobic, too. If I ride an interior elevator, I make sure I'm the one at the front (by the doors). Otherwise, I feel hemmed in and that is not good. LOL
