"Living With Dementia"

Anna,
Blessings to you for such
a compelling story.
'Dementia' is the dawn
of a sorrow for so
many lives.
Lady Mary Ann
Anna, I've been thinking of you, wondering if you're okay as there has not been a submission by yourself in a while. Regarding this 13 year old girl's letter to you: How sad that anyone has to go through this terrible disease let alone as a child helplessly standing by watching it's terrible progression. I'm now seventy-eight and, as I've mentioned to you in the past, do find it harder and harder to do any original writing and, even now, have three of my long running stories hanging without conclusions so the thought on my mind is there.
So sad, but wonderful poem, Anna, my friend.
Mark
I've seen it. It's horrible. I can only hope I have advance knowledge I am developing that destroyer of the mind, and know what it is, because if I do, I will never allow it to take over my mind. No. Much rather cross that river to the other side than linger with what we used to call senility.
