Dear Linda:

I'm so sorry to learn of the tragedy in your life. Oh, what a brave woman you are!!!...and a dear soul too!!!

I do believe what you are saying, for I have experience same thing over and over again, and believe me I think God is looking after us. I once wrote a poem, "The Goldfish", in which I said that while we are watching the goldfish in its fishing bowl, we are in a large fishbowl being watched by God, and God is looking after us.

Once my work asked me for a very important piece of paper, and I didn't think I had it, and I worried myself half to death the whole night before; then came the morning and I thought of "Why not search my drawer to see what I have just to show to them if they could accept it?"

So before I went to work that morning, I opened up my drawer to look what I had; and....Boom!!!!....The FIRST piece of paper that was sitting RIGHT ON THE TOP for me to reach and read WAS the piece of document I needed!!!!!!!!!

How that has happened I do not know, but I was tickled to death with joy and laughter!!!!! The piece of paper was in letter size, and it was folded up 2 times, and I have no idea why that piece of paper was on top of everything else...like it was placed there for me to reach just so that I wouldn't have to spend much more time in searching!!!

Who placed it there? Why didn't I know I had that piece of IMPORTANT PAPER? And what was it doing folded up like that in my drawer?????

You have to believe it - some mysterious force it at work to make everything alright for me!!!!!

I have said it again and again, my hubby and I have had lots of ups and downs in our lifetime when we were younger, but each time something happened and we would be coming into some money and everything would be alright once again. Whenever we were down, something always happened to cause us to bounce back up on our feet again. It's like God is constantly looking after us. I DO believe in it.

I also was pinned and immobiled underneath a car at one time, my jacket got caught on something and in any minute I was going to die, and I said to God, "Well God, this is it! This means goodbye to this world for me!"

Then miraculously, for some unexplained reasons, the driver of the vehicle reversed his motion and thus freeing me and my jacket off from underneath the car, and when the car moved away, I quickly stood up on my feet, everyone was surprised I was still alive!!!!!! - the only thing broken was my jade bracelet, it was broken in halves, and I had some bruises to my lower back, and scrapes to my arms and wrists!!!!! No broken bones!!!!!

You can see that really God and my angels were with me on that day!!!!!!

I'm a believer!!!!!

Oh, sorry I'm so long-winded, and I'm using your blog to tell my story!!!!! Sorry!!!..but can't really help it!!!

Take care of yourself from now on...now that you know you are loved!!!

Such tragedy in your life. I cannot imagine the things you think about each day. I do know that you are an excellent writer and storyteller. The saying is-what does not kill us, makes us stronger. I believe you have all your strength from the past. Hold your own hand and run with it!

Oh this was so touching my friend and yes, I am a believer. So many things like this have happened in my life as well. You have suffered much my friend and it will remain with you through this life time but you have found away to love them and please God. That's what I'm trying so hard to do. I've already forgiven the killer, I had to or I would never have come out of this, but I still struggle every November. I never got to have that cup of coffee with Gary as he promised, and I never got to say goodbye. I miss my dear parents as well, but I did say goodbye to both of them and somehow it was such a different thing. Painful, but understanding that our lives our short here. Thank you for this write this morning my dear, dear friend. Love, Bonnie

There is so much in this world that man and science cannot explain and so I tend to always keep an open mind about everything in this marvelous world of ours.

Stuart...you are a champion to me in your own way. I admire you and your wonderful way of encouraging and being supportive even tho you too have had many difficult setbacks.. Yes, I have had many tragedies in my life, but you know Stuart...there has to be a good reason why God chooses some of us to carry heavier burdens than others? I do get down .... more sensitive than upset...just hurt feelings I guess...but we make a choice...either we are miserable and make others lives the same or we smile and keep on kickin' butt (that's the Texan in me!) So.. I let myself "wallow in the mud a day or two or less...then I climb out of that misery pitt and wash off and take off running again".... Evidently some of us can take things while others cannot...so..I always tell the good Lord...(I don't ask...I tell) Him... "Lord...you'd sure better have me a nice cushy recliner up there close to you, one that I can prop my feet up and lean back...and then I have lots of questions to ask Him...." Sometimes I just get angry for a minute too tho...and I yell and tell him (again) that He gives me lots to carry since it's easier than "training a new guy".... so... WE have a great close relationship...that Heavenly Father and I... and I know that's why He keeps saving me for last...He's not ready to listen to all my fussin' quite yet!.... Just teasing. The thing is Stuart..everytime I think I've had it worse than others...someone reminds me of their hardships...and...wow... I'm so blessed in spite of it all.. :-)) I love it when you write... sorry I jabber on tho...that's just me. I'd better get to bed it's about 4:30 and I haven't been to bed yet...and I never even left the house today...go figure! hugs, lindalaw

Hey Linda,

You have certainly been dealt a harsh hand in life, however, you are a trooper who will soldier on--regardless. I love your optimism and beautiful heart, you are known all over this world.

Your good friend in Australia, Stuart
