Hi Linda:

If you are using MSWord, all you have to do is to click on Edit and then Replace. Type in the original word in the top slot; then type in the word that you want to replace with in the bottom slot, and then go down to click on Replace All. It will replace every original words for you.

Linda, I am good enough in Word. So if you will have a problem still, mail me.
By the way, doing it page by page doesn't ensure that you didn't miss one.
For the best, when finished the work, speak with me and we will check if there left some unchanged names. It's 3 minutes work really.

To put it in on every page you use the HEADER facility. (View - header&Footer and type it in once).

If you have typed it in on every page then you'll have to either delete on every page or do a find/delete.

Okay... all of you who are soo technically inclined as well.... I could not figure it out period!!! I tried and tried....so... I went thru page by page and changed the name...and now...well...maybe I got them all fixed???? Too tired to go over it again...
Bonnie... I HAVE WORD... not works....(I think I have works too...but I use WORD for doing my serious documents...
thanks all.... I'd still like to know if any of you out there can explain it?

Try Edit -> Replace... and you get a dialog box with what to search for, what to replace, and the option to replace all.
If you goof, it can be undone. But make a copy to be safe.
Good look with you novel and do tell us how it goes.
