Oh Randall...you jest!! Everyone knows that I am a terrible cook... Went thru 30 yrs of marriage to my precious Gib and after 8 mo's of marriage he said..."Honey, leave the cooking to me"... 4 kids later...the boys always said... When i grow up, I'm going to marry a gal who cooks just like....DAD!"
Joe can't cook a lick, so...we have no choice now... He does breakfast..and I just do whatever...He thinks I'm HIS Martha Stewart ...so...that ought to tell you...the guy just doesn't want to do the other meals!!! hugs, lindalaw

It is always so evident to me when my hubby and I miss our weekly date. There is a lightness and twitterpation that is there when we have our dates. There are those who say we are taking time away from our kids to go...but...in reality, I know that dating rejuvenates not only my hubby's and my relationship, but better equips both of us to deal with the stresses of raising a family and the individual issues each child faces.

My hubby and I hadn't been to the movies in months, but we decided we wanted to preview Bedtime Stories before taking our children to see it... We laughed all the way through it! Although...I have a terrible knack of getting so into movies that my husband starts laughing at me rather than the movie. hee, hee... :~)

Linda, this is one of the keys to keeping the relationship fun and interesting! So, don't leave on the necking by the lake after the movie (: That's what me and my old man used to do, go just take a walk after dinner, just to have an excuse to hold hands(:

I actually made myself a "date book", where I planned our date nights. We even had "Grooming night", where we'd wash each others hair, give each other manicures and pedicures! What a joy it was, to have someone to do those things with! Thanks Linda, for a trip down old memory lane!~~~~~Denise

Hooray for you Linda...and you always have wonderful times with Joe! You work so hard on your books and writings and cooking and loving and It wears me out!
What time will that pot roast be ready and I want some cookies and sugar coated cinnamon nuts too!!!

Hello Linda I am so glad Joe went out for a bit so you had the time to chat with us.
I have to agree Fred and I have been together for 35 years and yes we still go on our dates and we love it. We still hold hands and go for walks and cuddle at the movies. Life is great and just gets greater as we get older. Dating should never end. Look out on our Cruise next month. Thank you for sharing and continue to enjoy life Linda, we only have one life so why waste it.
