Oh how I am blessed! Each of you who responded are such loving and caring friends...thank you! At least you understand my weaknesses and still offer to assist! There was a day that I would rather die than ask...those days are long gone..How else do we learn without asking? Thank you Sheri..I am ckg out Booksurge but were quite expensive.. Jack, I love you for being so generous...you have helped me before and I shamefully forgot! I shall try to ck in with you about this.. Michelle, you are empowering and I thank you. Carol, what a gem you are to me as well.
Randall, you always make me smile, but I value your support! Sandie..you have helped me so often..thank you; and Fee..you know you give me that little boost... so, knowing that all of us go thru most of this..is more helpful than not... I always manage..just sometimes need to get it out...The Lord listens 24/7 to me...and that's why He sort of has me on the last roll call...He's saving me for when He doesn't have so much else to do...hehe...He knows I'll be pulling on his robe bugging Him all the time! hehe.. hugs, lindalaw

Hi Linda,
I think most authors probably feel the writing is the easy part, lol. Have you tried booksurge (it is a subsidiary of Amazon)? They do the formatting for you and can do the cover,too. It does cost a bit-but not too much. I went through createspace.com, but considered booksurge. In the end, I had a graphic designer that I wanted to use locally for my cover. I did the formatting of the interior myself-but probably will not do that again. I found it tedious.
Linda, I do feel that your talent must be seen and read by many-you are a true treasure. God bless you in whatever you decide to do. Keep praying for the right solution.

I have a smart sister! Also kind and nearly did everything for my publishing! Linda, you are very talented, educated and have a great sense of humor!
You shine and the books you write sell themselves as you have a wonderful voice in your words.

Yes Linda that is the other side of the coin for all writers, I have three published works, two by legitimate publishers and one by Publish America. I also have a current book I am working on and two more on the back burner done, but needing editing. The sad part of even this art that it takes money to make money. Printing, binding, travel for research, coputer repairs and equipment, postage etc all cost money but unless you get a break and find an agent it is still the only way short of a vanity press or self publishing to eventually get it on the market. I feel for you gal as I have the same ignorance about the computer as you do. Fortunately my daughter Barbara, when she has time, does all the hard work for me and soon, maybe next week, I'll have my new book SOMEWHERE back from LuLu. Hang in there kid as you are a prolific writer.
