Very good blog.
Though numbers don't lie. They just say somtehing else. It's up to us to decide what they are telling us.
For me, for example, your 75000 tells that in some three years I'll reach your number of views. So I have an aim to aspire. If i reach there before 3 years, then it will be nice. If not, then it doesn't matter :-)
Just numbers. :-)

Well said, Linda!! I started watching my stats which were basically at zero in September and they are now pushing 25,000--but have I sold books? Not on this site and when they go to my publisher's site, they don't buy either. I sell very few books on amazon, and do best at community affairs like MADD and Red Hat Ladies and public speaking. Another good question is, even though they "hit" the sites, do they actually read them? I do gage which stories get the most hits because I am compling them into a new book due out in September if I ever get to put it together.

In spite of all this, it is still a nice boost to the ego to see high numbers, even if it means nothing in regard to sales.
