I hate it when that happens--the things I have to juggle to fix it--like removing a whole word--now that you asked for help we both have the answer!! Thanks Usually mine fixes itself too whichis why I never know what i did to mess it up.

Thank you for these suggestions....Crazy as it sounds...it fixed itself!!! Don't ask me how! Just hope it doesn't happen again....but I did finish the editing today...and submitted it once again...Just have to pray now that it's finally right...I have procrastinated so long with this... This is my last day off this weekend, so I'm laying here working the manuscript and coughing and burning up with fever...just so sick....wouldn't you know it? Ya'll are the bomb... Oh you probably pressed the "insert" key by mistake. Press insert again and see if it removes the "eat" feature. Good luck!

It has happened 2 me 2 or 3 times and it was a nightmare! But, I don't know how to fix it. :)

Hi Linda,

Try this to fix your manuscript...okay, so the line below the line it ate up, space the line below about six spaces down.

Then put your pointer back up to the line it ate up and rewrite your text. Then move your line you spaced six spaces down back up to meet your line that it chewed up. Hopefully this will fix it...let me know
