Hi Debra, As a victim of Identity Theft, I have to say that the people who are most likely to steal your identity are the people you know and trust. For me it was my boss, which happened almost 10 years ago, and I'm still fighting it. The credit bureaus are no help, which, by the way, I discovered that there is a 4th credit bureau lurking out there which noone knows about. Protecting yourself from Identity Theft is one thing, and it's a small thing when you realize that it doesn't matter what you do to protect yourself against it. What matters is recovery, which there is no help for. Companies make money selling IT protection, but where is the help for those of us whom IT has happened in a very huge way?! Coming from one who already knows....
