This is a touching write. Both my parents had cancer & both had chemo. I didn't like it at all for them. There was no guarantee whatsoever and they were miserable. It made me think seriously of my own future. Spurgeon writes about our not fighting "death". I like that. Why fight something ordained by God Himself? It is really a transition anyway. I hope I will have the courage to refuse chemo & rad treatments if I have a terminal cancer. What's 6 more months? Or even a year? Prayer can, I think, help us a lot when we face these challenges.
