"Online Bookstores vs Brick & Mortar"

Hi Kellee.. I'm not sure how I feel about this for my "own" works, but personally, I like the convenience of ordering online... however; my sisters (5) shop together EVERY WEDNESDAY...they tour the Malls...and this past Wed they went to the bookstores to search for my book... I hadn't done that yet... so asked them how it went... (my book is listed at all 3 stores they visited)... B&N had a total of 5 copies in stock....my sis's bought 2... then they went to Borders... they didn't have any in stock, but had it online too, and took an "order" to be picked up at the mall store next Wed...(my sis's fussed at them saying "me" is a Texan and from San Antonio and they SHOULD carry my work in every SA store!!! so we'll see? Then they purchased a book from a Walden store ? SO.... Next week they are going to go back and see if anything changed at the 3 stores... One sis ordered several copies, divided by Amazon, B & N, and Borders... as she hates to carry her purchases when she's shopping! go figure!.... I'm interested in your responses... lindalaw
