I wrote you a comment, Glenda, but it was so very long, that I made it into a news item instead.
After spending 4 hours at a library book-signing, and not selling anything, I went to a grocery store, where people were obviously going to BUY things, and where the atmosphere was noisy and alive. There, I sold my goal and more.
Also, since my book was to benefit a global concern, I chose to pedal my book on the weekend of our community's cultural celebration of international dance and music.
