This is a beautiful, yet haunting poem...coming from your heart as truth, and yet...so applicable to many children in todays society... I am thankful to hear that you have a high value on your mother...because...too often, the child is so occupied trying to find the dad...or being hurt and scarred about the dad...that they forget what the mom has done...I see that way too often...so, Good for you.. and your words are thought for many dads... (and some moms who leave)... lindalaw
