Great words, Carol. I think you are right - Americans have great cause to be proud in many ways.

Hope you rejoin the family of nations under president Obama. We'd like the US out of the clutches of the cabal of fundamentalist lunatics currently in office. And that means no to Palin.

Amen! I am so proud to see America evolve as it has. As a white child who grew up in the South, we were exposed to racism from our parents and grandparents. It is a day we all can be proud! I sure hope he wins!
