Hi Carl, I was so moved by "Lettng Go' because my husband and I going to have to make the decision about our eighteen-year-old Corgi Collie Cross, Max. For a brief time he shows signs of life after eating his breakfast. He's blind, deaf and arthritic. Your mention about your dog visiting you in spirit reminds me of our cat who was run over. One morning I saw a sepia version of him washing his face while he was sitting on a chair. At that stage we had not found his body. Thank you for sharing your experience - I'll have to let Max go - soon!
